After a long search on the net, I found amjijawad’s first solution on ubuntu thread works.
Simply type in the following and it should prompt you a restart on firefox if it’s installed successfully:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install adobe-flashplugin -y
This is the only command that works on my netbook. The install failed when I tried installing flash directly off Adobe site (even though they seem to have support for it), installed it from the “Lubuntu Software Centre”, and running the second command line with amjjawad’s second suggestion.
Note: Although flash works perfectly fine on my machine now, it slows really dramatically on my web browsing experience. ~_~
